Your Path to Becoming a Foster Carer
First Enquiry and Home Visit
A first telephone conversation, followed by a visit to your home, allows us to answer any questions you may have and helps us begin to understand whether fostering is the right fit for you.
Training and Evaluation
You will be invited to take part in our fostering preparation course, which helps you explore whether fostering is the right path for you. After this, we will begin your assessment along with the necessary checks.
Fostering Panel and Approval
Once your assessment is complete, it will be submitted to our panel for review. The panel will consider your application, and the final decision will be made by the designated Decision Maker.
